bE-aware Project: Empowering Youth for a Safer Digital Future
Missing Children Europe, D’Antilles & D’Ailleurs, The Smile of the Child, KEMEA, CESIE, Storytellme, and the A.B. Institute of Entrepreneurship Development LTD have united efforts for the bE-Aware Project, which aims to empower European youth to navigate the digital world safely.
Objectives
The bE-Aware Project seeks to protect young people from online sexual exploitation, abuse, and the associated risks of going missing. It offers resources and programs to help youth identify online risks, make informed choices, and safeguard their future.
Expected Outcomes
- Equip youth workers and organisations with tools and resources to combat online sexual exploitation.
- Educate young people on online risks and safety measures
- Involve youth in initiatives that safeguard their rights.
- Raise awareness and deepen understanding of online risks.
Key Activities
- Develop comprehensive educational modules.
- Create the bE-Aware Toolkit for youth workers.
- Facilitate peer-to-peer training sessions.
- Launch a youth-led awareness campaign.
Who We Support
- Youth: Equipping them with the knowledge and tools to stay safe online.
- Youth Workers and Educators: Providing resources for them to better support and guide young people.
- Community Organisations: Collaborating to enhance online safety initiatives.
