In the light of the European Commission’s initiative to propose new Legislation to tackle child sexual abuse online effectively, as announced in the 2020 EU Strategy for a more effective fight against child sexual abuse, the symposium will provide:
1) Knowledge sharing about the existing technology to uncover child sexual abuse and grooming online;
2) Discussion on long term solutions to fight child abuse online while keeping children’s’ privacy and safety a top priority.
