The 116 000 hotline for missing children (by Mette Drivsholm)

The presentation will briefly recap the background of the 116 000 European hotline for missing children before describing the development of the hotline both geographically and through the implementation of several European Commission funded projects. Finally, the ongoing 116 000 project will be presented in depth, namely the project aiming at developing a sustainable accreditation mechanism and action plan for each of the 29 hotlines in order to ensure that the same quality service can be reached by calling 116 000, no matter which country you call from.
